Do the trainees receive a salary to cover their expenses during the placement?

Yes, the project provide the trainees with a financial contribution whose amount is established every year following the guidelines of the European Commission.For the placements 2017/2018, this grant varies on the basis of the destination country from 430 to 480 euros per month.
This contribution is aimed at covering the cost for a round trip ticket Italy/host country and at supporting the expenses of board and lodging during the mobility period.
Host centers can freely decide to provide the trainees with a further salary or other facilities (canteen, accomodation etc), but this is not compulsory for the host institutions.

Start date and duration of the placement

  • The start date of the placement can be agreed by the host centers with each trainee after she/he has been accepted.
  • The placement has to take place between July 10th, 2018 and May 31st, 2019.
  • The duration of the Unipharma-Graduates placements for students is 6 months and for PhD students is between 2 and 6 months.
  • The periods of holidays do not modify the end date and the duration of the placement.

Are the trainees covered by insurance during their placement?

Yes, the trainees will be covered by two insurances (accident and third party on the work place) provided by the University where they are enrolled/where they graduates for the whole period of their stay abroad.
